Microneedling

Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a safe and highly effective skin rejuvenation treatment that harnesses your body’s natural healing response to improve skin texture, tone, and firmness. During a microneedling session, a sterile, medical-grade device with ultra-fine needles creates thousands of tiny, controlled micro-channels in the top layer of the skin. These microscopic punctures stimulate the production of new collagen and elastin while enhancing the absorption of nourishing serums applied during or after the treatment. The process is generally well-tolerated, with most clients describing a mild vibrating or prickling sensation. A topical numbing cream is usually applied beforehand for maximum comfort. Sessions typically last 45–60 minutes, depending on the area being treated. Microneedling is excellent for addressing: Fine lines and wrinkles Acne scars and surgical scars Uneven skin tone and texture Enlarged pores Dull or lackluster skin Stretch marks Because it works by triggering your skin’s own repair mechanisms, results appear gradually and continue to improve for weeks after each session. A series of 3–6 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart is usually recommended for optimal, long-lasting results. There is minimal downtime — most people experience mild redness and sensitivity similar to a sunburn for 24–48 hours, after which makeup can usually be applied. Skin often looks brighter, smoother, and more radiant within the first week, with deeper improvements in firmness and scar reduction developing over time. Microneedling offers a natural yet powerful way to rejuvenate the skin without surgery or harsh chemicals, making it a popular complement to holistic facial therapies.

Cosmetic Acupuncture Treatment

Cosmetic acupuncture is a gentle, natural facial rejuvenation experience rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Using ultra-fine, sterile needles, this holistic session works from the inside out to awaken your skin’s natural radiance while promoting deep relaxation and overall well-being. During the session, your practitioner first assesses your unique needs and may begin with body acupuncture points to balance your energy (Qi) and address any internal factors that influence skin health. Then, approximately 15-40 hair-thin needles are carefully placed into specific points on the face, neck, and sometimes the scalp. Most people feel little to no discomfort — often describing a subtle tingling, warmth, or deeply calming sensation. The tiny insertions create positive microtraumas that trigger your body’s natural repair response. This gently stimulates: Increased collagen and elastin production for firmer, more elastic skin Enhanced blood circulation and oxygen delivery to nourish skin cells Improved lymphatic drainage to reduce puffiness and promote a healthy glow Relaxation of facial muscles to soften the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles You’ll rest with the needles in place for about 20–30 minutes in a peaceful environment, often accompanied by soothing music or guided relaxation. The entire experience typically lasts 60–90 minutes and leaves you feeling refreshed, balanced, and glowing. Over a series of sessions, many clients notice brighter, smoother skin, a more even tone, and a youthful vitality that radiates from within — without chemicals, toxins, or downtime. This treatment includes red light therapy. It’s more than skincare; it’s a nourishing ritual that supports both your outer beauty and inner harmony.

Acupuncture - Initial Appointment

Acupuncture is a time-honored healing practice rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine that has been used for thousands of years to restore balance and promote the body’s natural ability to heal. During a typical acupuncture session, your licensed practitioner begins with a thorough health assessment, including questions about your symptoms, lifestyle, sleep, digestion, and energy levels. This allows for a personalized treatment plan tailored specifically to you. You’ll then lie comfortably on a treatment table while ultra-fine, sterile, single-use needles are gently inserted into specific acupuncture points on the body. These points are chosen to regulate the flow of Qi (vital energy) along the body’s meridians, addressing both the root cause and the symptoms you’re experiencing. Most people feel little to no pain when the needles are inserted — many describe a mild tingling, heaviness, warmth, or a subtle “Qi sensation.” Once the needles are in place, you’ll rest quietly for 20–40 minutes in a calm, soothing environment. Many clients find this part deeply relaxing and even fall asleep. Acupuncture is commonly used to support: Pain relief (back, neck, joints, headaches, migraines) Stress and anxiety reduction Improved sleep and energy levels Digestive health Hormonal balance and women’s health Immune support and overall wellness Each session is gentle, natural, and drug-free, with no downtime afterward. Many people leave feeling calmer, more balanced, and lighter — often noticing improvements after just one or a series of treatments. At its heart, acupuncture is a holistic therapy that treats the whole person, helping your body return to a state of harmony and vibrant health.

Cupping and Guasha

Traditional cupping and gua sha are ancient therapeutic techniques rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Often used alongside acupuncture, these drug-free methods promote the smooth flow of Qi (vital energy) and blood, release muscle tension, reduce stagnation, and support the body’s natural healing processes. Traditional Cupping involves placing specialized cups (typically glass, silicone, or plastic) on the skin of the back, shoulders, neck, or other areas of the body. A vacuum is created inside the cup — either by briefly heating the air inside (fire cupping) or using a manual pump — which gently draws the skin and underlying tissues upward. The cups may be left stationary for several minutes or slowly glided across oiled skin for a dynamic effect. This suction increases local blood circulation, loosens tight fascia and muscles, promotes lymphatic drainage, and helps dispel cold or dampness according to TCM principles. Many clients experience it as a deep, soothing pull that feels like an intense tissue massage. Gua Sha (pronounced “gwa-shah,” meaning “scraping sand” or “scraping away stagnation”) uses a smooth-edged tool — traditionally made of jade, horn, or stone, and now often stainless steel or ceramic — to apply firm, repeated strokes along the skin in the direction of the muscles or meridians. A thin layer of oil is first applied to allow the tool to glide comfortably. The scraping motion brings fresh blood to the surface, releases muscular tension and adhesions, improves microcirculation, and encourages the movement of stuck Qi and fluids. It is commonly performed on the back, neck, shoulders, arms, or legs. Both therapies are deeply relaxing for many people and are commonly used to support: Muscle pain, tension, and stiffness (especially in the back, neck, and shoulders) Headaches and migraines Sports injuries or recovery Respiratory issues (such as cough or congestion) Stress reduction and improved overall circulation Relief from stagnation-related discomfort After treatment, temporary redness, warmth, or light circular marks (from cupping) or petechiae/“sha” (reddish spots from gua sha) may appear. These are normal signs of improved blood flow and typically fade within a few days. There is no significant downtime, though clients are advised to stay warm and hydrated. These traditional body therapies offer a powerful, holistic way to restore balance, ease pain, and promote vitality from within.

Facial Cupping & Gua Sha

Facial Cupping and gua sha are gentle, time-honored techniques rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Often used alongside acupuncture, they promote natural skin rejuvenation, lymphatic drainage, and a healthy glow — all without invasive procedures or downtime. Facial Cupping uses small, specialized silicone or glass cups to create a light suction on the skin of the face, neck, and décolletage. After applying a nourishing oil or serum, the cups are either “parked” briefly over specific areas (such as fine lines or tense spots) or gently glided across the skin. This vacuum-like effect lifts the facial tissues, increases blood circulation and oxygenation, stimulates collagen and elastin production, and helps draw nutrients to the surface. Many clients notice reduced puffiness, diminished dark circles, softer fine lines, and a plumper, more radiant complexion. Facial Gua Sha (pronounced “gwa-shah”) involves using a smooth-edged tool — often made of jade, rose quartz, or medical-grade stainless steel — to gently scrape or stroke the skin in upward and outward motions. Applied with a light pressure and lubricant, it encourages lymphatic flow, releases facial muscle tension, improves microcirculation, and helps move stagnant fluids. The result is a more sculpted, lifted appearance, reduced morning puffiness, brighter skin tone, and a relaxed, rejuvenated feel.

Red Light Therapy

Red Light Therapy is a gentle, non-invasive wellness treatment that uses specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light to energize your cells and support the body’s natural healing processes. During a session, you relax comfortably while therapeutic LED lights are positioned over the face, body, or specific areas of concern. The light penetrates the skin without generating heat, reaching deep into the cells to stimulate mitochondria — the “powerhouses” of your cells. This boosts ATP (cellular energy) production, increases collagen synthesis, reduces inflammation, and improves circulation. Red Light Therapy is commonly used to support: Skin rejuvenation — brighter tone, smoother texture, reduced fine lines and wrinkles Collagen and elastin production for firmer, more youthful-looking skin Reduced inflammation and faster muscle recovery Pain relief and joint comfort Wound healing and scar improvement Better sleep and overall energy levels Hair growth stimulation (when applied to the scalp) Sessions are relaxing and typically last 10–30 minutes. Most people feel only a mild warmth or nothing at all, with no discomfort or downtime. Results are cumulative, so a series of treatments (often 2–3 times per week for several weeks) delivers the best outcomes. Safe for all skin types and gentle enough to combine with acupuncture, facial cupping, or gua sha, red light therapy offers a powerful, science-backed way to enhance your body’s innate ability to repair and glow from within.
